My name is Tim Mottershead and I am the founder of Eastgate photography in Chester, Cheshire. I’ll give you a brief low-down on who I am and what I do at Eastgate photography.
I studied English Language at Swansea University, enjoy playing hockey and walking my dog, Ernie. After working as a General Manager in some well-known gastro-pubs in Cheshire, I realised a passion for photography and the potential of partnering my experience in hospitality with a flair for taking great, naturally candid photos.
My brother and sister-in-law have a successful and well established wedding photography business, known as SandS Photography: http://sandsphoto.co.uk/ .
I worked with them during 2016 and still help them out with the occasional wedding if I am free. Having learnt my trade with SandS and launched my website, I upgraded my cameras and filled my bag with lenses. The Summer of 2017 saw me photograph my first weddings alone as Eastgate photography and I had a blast, ensuring the couples that had put their trust in me were not disappointed.
Your family is the most important thing in the world, and I know you want portraits of your wedding day that you can treasure and hold close to your heart for the rest of your life. If you look through my blog, you will see a mixture of elegantly posed couple shots, formal group pictures taken efficiently and with a smile, as well as the documentary style pictures I will take, giving you a true story of your special day in the most un-obstructive way possible.
